connecting inspired shoppers to beautiful objects

“Hey, I have that chair too.”

It’s a refrain heard all too often in today’s build-from-a-box world of generic home furnishings.

Bonnie Wilson started Gild & Co. because she wanted to rekindle the Age of Expression; celebrate individuality and inspiration over convenience and familiar; and allow her customers to obtain timeless, unique furnishings that tie their room together in their way.

Since 2013, she has intentionally built Gild & Co. so that each piece can tell a unique story: where it came from, how they found it, and why it was brought into the store. This focus has allowed her to build a collection of inspired furnishings and home decor that is rounded out with new furniture and home decor, fusing classic forms with modern inspiration.

Bonnie has embraced antiques—they tell stories only time can write.

Buying antique reduces the need to manufacture new furniture and harvest new materials. It breathes new life into objects from a time when they were made by craftsmen, not assembled at home.

By bringing beautiful and timeless furniture and decor to market, Gild & Co. assists clients in making environmentally sustainable design choices, creating surroundings filled with beauty and colour, making them feel relaxed and happy in their home.

Imagine the expressions people make when they find exactly what they were searching for—sometimes when they weren’t even looking. Follow Bonnie and Gild & Co on Instagram for daily inspiration: @gildandco
